Allen is the founder and CEO of Greenway Partners B.V., a multi-family office and investment advisory firm focusing on hedge funds, leverage financing and venture capital. Greenway’s clients include high net worth individuals, trusts and other investors. Greenway Partners is the Investment Advisor to Greenway Partners BVI Ltd., a BVCI domiciled Investment Manager.

He began his career in June 2000 at Wall St. based McLaughlin, Piven & Vogel Securities. In 2002, he joined Royal Bank of Canada as a credit analyst. In 2005 he was transferred to London to lead a joint venture between RBC International Wealth Management and RBC Capital Markets, where I 2006 he was recruited to the Alternative Assets Group and RBC Capital Markets. There, he became responsible for marketing and securing his management balances in leveraged hedge fund structures rose to nearly $1b through both organic growth and acquisition.

Allen left RBCCM in 2016 and relocated back to Boston, MA to launch Turtle Lane Partners, a wealth management and structuring firm. He holds a degree with a double major in Economics & Government from Hamilton College, Clinton, NY and is an active volunteer firefighter in Bergen, Noord-Holland.

Ivo was the Chief Investment Officer at Altus Investment Management, a UK based multi-family office, with responsibility for driving strategy and implementation across all client portfolios.

Previously he was the co-founding partner at Rampart Capital, a UK multi-family office where he ran their alternatives, equity and macro investments. Prior to this he was a founding partner at MaxCap Partners.

He began his career at Coutts Private Bank before working for F&C Asset Management in Emerging Markets Fixed Income and Credit Suisse in their UK Private Banking team.

John has 40 years’ experience in financial markets and is currently a Director and Investment Committee member at Greenway Partners B.V., a non-Executive Director at IUP (Independent Units Platform) in Luxembourg, non-Executive Chairman at Arlington Capital Ltd., Senior Partnership Advisor at Tellsons Investors LLP and a founding director of Alternative Research Ltd., an investment consultancy launched in 2010.

He is a graduate of EBS European Business School, having studied in London, Paris and Frankfurt.
